In-Person Visits Starting August 2020
We just want to let you know that Ali Shahrami and Dr. Ian Shulman will gradually start resuming face-to-face sessions in early August for clients who would like to meet in-person.
The other members of our clinical team will continue to provide virtual sessions only for the time being, but might also return to in-person visits later in the Fall. We’re going to continue to suspend our psychoeducational assessment services at this time, but we’ll let you know as we decide to open things up further.
For those of you who will be coming into our space, please feel confident knowing that we have cleaning and physical distancing practices in place to keep everyone as safe as possible. We’ve closed our waiting room to visitors, and ask that you stay outside the building until your appointment time. We’ll wear a mask when we’re together with you, and we’ll ask you to do the same at all times within our suite. For safety, we’ll also ask you to answer some symptom-screening questions before you enter and provide some information for contact tracing. If either you or we are showing signs of probable COVID, then we’ll work with you to hold that appointment virtually instead.
As we’ve all discovered by now, living with COVID requires a lot of flexibility and adjusting these days. So, if you’re comfortable having sessions with you and us in masks, that is now available. Or, if you prefer to continue meeting with us virtually, let us know. We’ll try to give you what you need.
Take care.
