• Nicole Price-Thomas, Psychologist

    Welcome to Nicole Price-Thomas, the newest member of our team of therapists at SHIFT Cognitive Therapy, in Oakville, Ontario. Nicole is a Doctoral Practicum student in Clinical Psychology from the Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and a Specialization Bachelor’s in Psychology from Concordia University. With fifteen years of experience providing assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents and adults in private practice and school board settings, Nicole comes to us already registered as a psychologist (Master’s level). Licensed for counselling and school psychology with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, she has returned to school to complete her doctorate to obtain additional training in the area of couples therapy.

    Nicole has a warm and engaging personality and uses an eclectic therapeutic approach that includes client-centred, emotion-focused, cognitive behavioural and solution-focused interventions. Her intersectionality drives her strong emphasis on culturally-responsive, collaborative, and strength-based approaches to client issues.

    Nicole is available for in-person or virtual sessions with adult clients.
